PIRATE

The P.I.R.A.T.E. (Programmable Intelligent Roaming Autonomous Thalassic Electronic submersible) is a Underwater vehicle ,which performs acoustic source seeking. This vehicle is the product of a team project that began in the fall of 2005. In the Spring of 2006 with the help of Andy Stewart, Joseph Doblack, Logan Boutilier, and I implemented Extremum Seeking on the PIRATE to steer it towards an under water speaker. click here for a movie of the PIRATE performing source seeking (7.8 MB, Windows Media Player)
